Starlight research is a corporation that searches for money that is owed individuals, corporations, and companies. We are a contingency company. Our clients never have to pay any money at any time; we split all proceeds 50/50 with our clients once we find money that we can legally collect for them.
We spend a lot of time and effort finding funds and a lot of time finding the people to contact after we find the funds. It takes a lot of time and resources to do what we do and this is why we split the proceeds that we find. If we do not find any proceeds and/or if we are unable to retrieve any proceeds, it is completely at our own expense. We never charge the client anything ever.
We love helping others and this is a great way to do so; as a result, it is a win-win business. We help ourselves as we are helping others.
In order to keep all parties honest because we never charge our clients anything, we have all clients sign a compatible fee agreement and a partial power of attorney that only applies to the situation and/or the transaction we are working on at the time. All agreements have to be signed in front of a notary to ensure a legal witness thereby making it illegal binding contract.
We spend a lot of time and expense doing our research and working to get these funds retrieved. By signing a legal contract, it ensures us that the client is serious about finding the funds, it protects the client with a legal document proving that the client never has to pay us anything, and it lets us know that we can invest in the client by spending our time and using our resources to seek their funds knowing that we may or may not even be able to get them.
The majority of the money we find comes from government entities and they all have a short window of opportunity to receive these funds, otherwise the government claims these funds if they are not claimed by a specific time. Therefore it is crucial to file these claims as soon as possible because it normally takes up to 6 months to process the claim once it’s filed.
Starlight Research benefits by splitting any funds that are found and retrieved, and that’s how we get paid. The client benefits because these funds would likely have never been retrieved otherwise, therefore any funds returned to the client are essentially a free gift.
